Gold Coast Luxury Apartments - who we are, how we started:The group’s founders, Hendrik & Jennifer, are originally from New Zealand. This is a husband & wife team with international experience in luxury apartments. Initially, whilst working overseas we used local agents to manage our apartments. This did not work out (too much commission, too little bookings, poor cleaning standards, low quality of consumables, no attention to condition of apartments after guests check out. The following two Broadbeach apartments in The Oracle, Broadbeach, will be entering our rental portfolio in mid 2010: 2 brm unit 3604, and 3 brm unit 4003. For details of The Oracle, please click on this link http://www.theoraclebroadbeach.com/ How we now operate: off-site management of our Broadbeach apartments and Q1 apartmentsWe are a registered business with ABN and are a registered Merchant (with ANZ Bank), so that we can take visa & mastercard payments. We do our own marketing, arrange cleaning (through part-time staff), and personally monitor the condition of each apartment after guests have checked out.
NOTE: departing guests do not have to wash any linen/towels – this is arranged by the cleaners; cutlery and crockery should be washed by guests – dishwasher and powder is provided. Note also that our Broadbeach apartments are fully self-contained. Booking & registration – Q1 & our Broadbeach apartmentsOnce a booking has been requested, we require a non-refundable deposit to secure the booking with the balance payable 2 weeks before arrival. We follow normal industry practice (and as required by our insurers), by requiring guests (i) to sign a registration form (includes provisions making guests responsible for any damage), and (ii) to provide suitable ID, and a copy of a valid credit card. Note re Q1 Surfers Paradise & our Broadbeach ApartmentsThese resorts are not hotels - there is no "hotel style" daily service, mini-bar or room service. We provide a "mid-stay service" for guests who stay longer than 7 nights.
